My Story

Born in 1983, in the Eastern part of Saudi. I found myself in the eighties moving with my family to a new continent. I continued my early childhood education at a cozy Montessori School, where I developed my lifelong learning and love for learning skills. Think of a replication of “Stranger Things” but with a third culture kid.

My teacher back then told my parents that I’d continue my career in social studies and the humanities, and she seemed certain about it. She was right. I was fascinated with learning and especially experiential learning which I was blessed to live and embody from a young age.

In my hearts of heart, I am a teacher, a reader, a writer, and a leader. How that shows up is varied and can take many faces, sizes and shapes.

I am also a community builder. I hosted CreativeMornings in Jeddah from 2016-2019, what started as a homework for a leader quest ended up being an evolving and expansive process that keeps shining its light and spreading its wings. New marriages & friendships, and a dozen jobs & hobbies were born here.

The most inspiring and influential people in my life happen to be my teachers & life mentors, because of how they embody the most essential human qualities (such as wisdom, compassion, faith, and humility, & beyond). I am truly grateful to have been taught & touched by some of the best, most extinguished thought leaders globally, accomplished authors, true community pioneers: Ahlam Al Azab, Dr Anastasia Kamanos, Eric Hall and Carol Hall, Dr Max Biddulph, Art Shirk and Judith Wallerstein (may they both rest in peace), Brené Brown, Gita Bellin, Margaret Wheatley, Susan Mann, Judy Bekker, and Sandy Mitsch. Growing up I wanted to be like Oprah Winfrey and how she creates authentic impact, however, in my bones I wanted to be the best teacher I can, an unconventional but congruent one.

I am most fascinated about the human nature and its paradoxes. I love to work with people, in groups, communities and one to one. I feel I am always learning, growing and shifting my awareness levels around different topics.

I am most thankful to people’s trust, their moving stories, powerful insights, the lessons that they share, allowing me to witness key moments in their life has filled me the most with gratitude and grace.
